The staff here is incredible!!! They squeezed me in last minute for a wisdom tooth extraction that I was extremely greatful for. They are the most humbling people in this field I have ever met and truly make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Dr. Young is amazing and does fantastic work. Everyone is very personable and do everything In their power to make you feel at home. I highly recommend them and will definitely return if I ever need work again. Thank you guys so much.

Prior to visiting Dr. Young I had a bad experience with having a tooth extracted. I made Dr. Young and the staff aware of the anxiety I was facing about having all four wisdom teeth removed. Before rushing into anything they took the time to reassure and comfort me. The office has a relaxed and up beat atmosphere that made me feel as if I'd been coming for years. I was referred to Dr. Steven Young by my brother. I recently had two of my wisdom teeth removed. Upon arrival, I was nervous. I've heard horror stories from friends about getting their wisdom teeth removed in the past and how painful the procedure can be. From the injections to the removal of the two teeth to the stitches - It was absolutely painless. Dr. Young and his assistant have a very calming and reassuring presence. Later that day I received a call to make sure everything was going good and see if I had any questions. He cares about his patient. Though the first night was uncomfortable, I began to feel better by the next day. The bleeding had stopped and I experienced minimal swelling. I would highly recommend Dr. Young I'd also like to say that the staff members in Dr. Young's office are very sweet, funny and attentive from the very first consultation. I knew I made a great choice by going there.

Over all this was a great experience I heard that wisdom teeth can be very painful. I didn't have any swelling or any complications it was quick and very easy! Doctor Young and his staff were very friendly and accommodating! I would highly recommend him to anyone getting their wisdom teeth out!

I recently had four wisdom teeth removed. Dr. Young's office staff scheduled my consultation quicker then any other oral surgeon in northern Rhode Island. The staff made me feel at ease. This was my first surgery ever. Dr. Young even called me that night to see how I was doing. Everyone was very professional and welcoming. I remember nothing about the actual procedure as I decided to recieve anesthesia. Recover was quick. After two days I no longer was in pain. I had very minimal swelling in my face. I would recommend Dr.Young to any family or friend!

Overall the experience was fantastic and who can say that about the nature of oral surgery. The front of office staff is friendly, caring, and passionate- a true pleasure to having had met. The woman in the front of the office is superb, memorable, and certainly stands out in comparison among others in the medical field. I was terrified of having my wisdom teeth removed, but I could not have had a better experience with Dr. Young and everyone in his office. They were straightforward and friendly. One of the assistants even held my hand and reassured me seeing how anxious I was before the anesthesia. Afterwards, my family and friends were amazed at how little swelling I had, and it lessened everyday. Prescribed meds kept my pain under control, and by the third and fourth day I barely even had to use them. They left me with good instructions which I followed and have had no major pain or complications! I have had more discomfort after a regular tooth filling than I had after having 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed. I would recommend this office to anyone!

AAA service excellent staff I never felt so relaxed at the dentist before. Dr Steven H. Young (oral surgeon) did a fantastic job extracting my wisdom tooth before I knew it the tooth was out hardly any pain very professional work, Dr Young has a great friendly bedside manner also. Dr. Young took his time to explain and answer all questions pertaining to wisdom teeth surgery.The video helped my daughter and I understand the procedure and the possible risks of the surgery. We had all of our questions answered and felt well-informed after the first visit. The only suggestion I would make would be for the patient to receive the prescriptions on the first visit instead of the day of surgery. In our case , we had to wait over a half hour to get the script filled. Howvever, we give Dr. Young and his staff 5 STARS .

So, it was without question I would go back with my younger son. Same treatment, same care! Dr. Young and his staff, I love them!! What mom doesn't love a place where they know their child will be well cared for. Both their procedures went well. In recovery, every need was met and the time they spent with us going over what we needed to know was awesome. Plus, we got a call by the Doctor by the end of the day. I left there knowing what to expect over the next few weeks, given instructions that are easy to follow on paper and was repeatedly told to call with any concern I had.
